Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 29, 2026
This policy describes how Splitter Studio ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you visit our websites (including splitterstudio.com), use our mobile apps, or play our web games.
Individual titles may show additional notices in-app or on their own domains. This page is the studio-wide privacy policy for our products.
Information stored on your device
Game progress (such as completed levels, times, settings, and save state) is often stored locally on your device using local storage or similar mechanisms. We do not require an account to play most of our titles.
Third-party advertising
Some of our mobile apps and web games show ads through Google and its advertising partners. Where ads appear on the web, we may use Google AdSense; in mobile apps we may use Google AdMob. We do not sell your personal information.
Those partners may collect and use data to deliver, measure, and personalize ads, including for tracking purposes (for example, to show relevant ads on other apps and sites). Under Apple's and Google's definitions, some of this data may be linked to your device or identity for advertising, even though Splitter Studio does not ask for your name or email to play.
Types of data that may be collected for third-party advertising include:
| Category | Examples | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Location | Coarse location (approximate area derived from IP or device settings) | Third-party advertising; may be linked to your identity; used for tracking |
| Identifiers | Device ID, advertising identifier (such as IDFA on iOS when permitted) | Third-party advertising; may be linked to your identity; used for tracking |
| Usage data | Product interaction (such as ad views, clicks, and interactions with ads) | Third-party advertising; may be linked to your identity; used for tracking |
| Advertising data | Information about advertisements served and your response to them | Third-party advertising; may be linked to your identity; used for tracking |
| Diagnostics | Crash data related to ad SDKs and ad delivery | Third-party advertising; may be linked to your identity; used for tracking |
| Performance data | Technical metrics about ad loading and SDK performance | Third-party advertising; may be linked to your identity; used for tracking |
Splitter Studio does not receive this advertising data directly. Collection and use are governed by Google's policies and partners. Learn more at Google Advertising Policies and Google Privacy Policy.
On iOS, an app may request permission to track activity across other companies' apps and websites for personalized advertising (App Tracking Transparency). You can decline; ads may still appear in a less personalized form.
Where a title offers a premium or paid option that removes ads in the mobile app, that purchase applies to that app. A game website may still show ads unless you use an ad blocker.
Cookies and personalized advertising
On game websites where we show advertising, Google and other third-party vendors may use cookies and similar technologies, including the DoubleClick cookie, to serve, measure, and personalize ads based on your visits to those sites and other sites on the Internet.
Third-party vendors, including Google, may collect or receive information from your browser or device when ads are served. Google uses this data to provide advertising services and may combine it with other information Google holds about you.
You can control personalized advertising in several ways:
- Google Ads Settings to manage Google's use of cookies for personalized ads
- aboutads.info to opt out of many third-party vendors' interest-based ads in the US
- Your Online Choices for options in the European Union

Cloud sync (optional)
If enabled in a given title, progress may be synced to our backend using an anonymous device identifier. No name or email is required for this feature. Cloud sync is separate from advertising data above and is not enabled in all builds or games.
Analytics and error reporting
Some apps and web games may send anonymous data to Microsoft Azure Application Insights: for example JavaScript error reports (error messages and stack traces) and custom events such as tutorial or level completion. Those events may include a random anonymous identifier created on first launch and gameplay metadata such as a level id. We do not send your name, email, advertising identifiers, or unnecessary device details with these reports, and we do not use cookies for this feature. This is separate from ad partner diagnostics listed above.
The Splitter Studio portfolio website itself does not use third-party advertising cookies. If we add analytics to this site in the future, we will update this policy.
In-app purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple App Store, Google Play, Steam, or other platform providers as applicable. We do not receive your payment card details.
Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we use your message and address only to respond to your inquiry.
Children
Our games and sites are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
